The drive is flashed and working.
The only one thing I noticed is that after ripping the disk doesn't stop spinning after completing the rip
until I exit makemkv. My other drives don't do that so not sure what's with this one.
But no biggie.

Pioneer drives are essentially capable for UHD since the 208 was sold. Only LG drives need to be younger than end of 2015. Thanks! I got him to come down to $80. I'm going to go and pick it up in the next hour or two. If you can help me out with the flasher, that would be amazing. Thanks so much!

Yes. Can be flashed to XD06 and is then UHD capable. Sounds like a good deal.

Hello, there's a local guy selling a XD05 that's unopened. The only information I have is after I asked him to check the back of the box is that it was manufactured in April 2014 and it says CUXV5 in big letter in the back.
