Re: Read Errors When Processing Some DVD's & Blu-Ray's
There are lots of ways to clean a disc. I like to use plenty of warm water and liquid dish soap. I move my finger tip back and forth from the inside hole to the outer edge, taking the shortest path possible and slowly work all the way around the disc. Doing it this way, my finger is always travelin...

Re: Read Errors When Processing Some DVD's & Blu-Ray's
I tried something that I read on another post that fixed this for me. I was getting the same error on three different drives. The other post recommended activating the integration of MKV with the system. You can do this in preferences in MKV. I activated System and System (32bit) checkboxes. Then I...

Re: Read Errors When Processing Some DVD's & Blu-Ray's
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00978.m2ts' at offset '664117248' Errors like that mean the drive had trouble reading a spot on the disc. The general advice is to gently clean the disc, even if it looks clean or is brand new. Sometimes...

Read Errors When Processing Some DVD's & Blu-Ray's
I'm getting these read errors when trying to copy this Blu-Ray disc. Unable to open file '/BDMV/STREAM/01093.m2ts' in OS mode due to a bug in OS Kernel. This can be worked around, but read speed may be very slow. Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDM...

Re: Verbatim 43888 Flash Help
Your link to the other post helped and it has been flashed. Thank you so much for all your help. I don't know what I was doing wrong last time, maybe I didn't change the name of the drive. Either way it's fixed now and I can move on to ripping dvd's. Thanks again.

I’m pretty techy so if you could give help with the right commands or whatever else I need to do, I can fi...

Verbatim 43888 Flash Help
So I just bought the Verbatim 43888 Blu-Ray player for my Mac. I'm running Sequoia 15. I just now realized from here it needs to be flashed. I've been here https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19634#:~:text=NB52%20to%20%3E%20BP50NB40,php%3Fid%3D2143 and followed the guide but so ...
