The way AACS works, if only you insert a "revoked" disc in your drive (even without running any application), your drive will reflash itself and will stop working. You should have inserted recently a disc for which AACS version is v28 or higher. It could have been even an empty BD-RE disc...

Was this ever resolved? Having the same issue trying to rip Spider Man 3 but never had problems before. Win 7 (64) and internal LG drive.. Did you insert any newly released blu-ray disc in your drive recently? What is AACS version for Spider man 3, displayed on a "Protection" line on main...
