I reached out to Amazon for the issue and they took back the original set and delivered a new set. Same issues (sigh). I will return this set and then ask for the special editions that include the movies as i read that some of these are better quality DVDs. Fingers crossed.

I'm in a similar boat here. I used an old trick to sharpie the edge of the DVD to prevent any interference. I heled get past two failures, but S01D3 T01, S03D1 T03, S04D2 T01 and T04 are not ripping. I may be requesting a replacement as well. Still going thru the collection, but weary of the results...
