I think your issue can easily be solved once you update it to the most recent version. Also, the version which you are using which is the 4.6.2 had been known to have some bugs. The 4.6.4 is a safe bet or you could try the most recent versions which should be bug free.

Well, as Roman SH have said here, if key is not the issue that you are dealing with, then it should definitely give you errors that are different to the ones that are caused by keys. Are you sure you get the same SEGFault and unable to open disc errors? Please retry the process and confirm it.

Well, it is still an area of concern that Linux does find it increasingly hard to compile this as when compared to Windows. I think this difference occurs mainly due to the recent version 1.5.8.
