Re: ASUS BW-16D1X-U - Flashable?

It's here in the MK firmware pack. WH16NS58 1.V5 https://www.makemkv.com/download/mk-fir ... 200720.zip Jitter doesn't really matter. You check for LDC and BIS. I see. :D Thank you very much for all the provided guides on "How To" for what I needed. I think I will be using the DE_ASUS_BW-...

Re: ASUS BW-16D1X-U - Flashable?

Re: ASUS BW-16D1X-U - Flashable?

You can even do your own quality checks with your drive. To do so flash it to WH60NS58 1.V5. Download this proggie: https://github.com/speed47/qpxtool/releases?Vz5CfWRhW6u=MOt0LUWI Qpxtool requires this special firmware. You can always flash back to your ASUS firmware if desired but it is libredriv...

Just leave the tray open for 5 mins after writing a disc before moving on to the next one. This gives you a few minutes to grab a cuppa or go to the lo...

Re: ASUS BW-16D1X-U - Flashable?

Hi, I'm new around here so bear with my lack of knowledge please >,< I bought a few years ago a Blu-Ray Writer from ASUS, model "BW-16D1X-U" and mainly used it to burn single layer BD-R discs or read DVDs (close to 100 discs done). First thing I noticed about it is that it gets quite hot ...
