Re: Bluray disc Galapagos BBC not ripping correctly

Oops! my error.

Sequence was:

1. install Flip4Mac;
2. Rip using MakeMKV;
3. Change wrapper using MPEG Streamclip;
4. change wrapper contents using QuickTime Player;
5. tidy-up using HandBrake.

long winded but it works!

Thanks again to all those who helped.

Re: Bluray disc Galapagos BBC not ripping correctly

Many thanks, problem solved.

Installed Flip4Mac so Quicktime player was able to read. Exported. Handbrake did the final tidy-up. :)

What my original post should have said was: What is it about the disc that causes makemkv to produce that type of output file? As per request here is the debug file: Debug log started at Mon Nov 21 19:58:42 2011 , written by MakeMKV v1.6.16 darwin(x86-release) Using 262272KB for read cache. 001005:0...

Bluray disc Galapagos BBC not ripping correctly

Makemkv v1.6.16 rips the disc Galapagos but resulting files do not play in VLC (or anything else). Sound track is Ok.
Stream 0 has type Windows Media Video VC1 (WVC1).

Other blu-ray discs rip Ok.
