Does your drive read plain DVDs at 65MB/s? I would assume that is a buffered jump-start average, although later on staying at 5 MB/s for an extended period does seem odd. I had put 2 DVD's content on one of 2 hard drives in my computer (A) and ripped from there using MakeMKV to the other hard drive...
