To read/rip UHD it will most likely require flashing. Please post the MakeMKV drive info & libredrive info sections so we can check for you.

I have a Pioneer BDR-X12UBK and it Plays/Rips 1080p Blurays fine under Linux, however if I put a UHD disc in it doesn't recognize the disc was put in (even though it says it supports BDXL quad layer, I tried a couple). I read you usually have to flash the firmware on a bluray drive to be able ...
