Brave (Blu-Ray)

I bought the Blu-Ray of Brave at the weekend and attempted to use MakeMKV to stick it on my NAS. Normally there is just 1 (or 2) massive files making it fairly obvious which is the main film. However, Brave had 7 listed. What has also confused me is the segment map - each one was different: 952 953 ...

Re: The Avengers Assemble - Crashes MKV

UPDATE: So I thought I'd start creating log files. Turned on the setting, closed MakeMKV, restarted it and ran it through. Went through without crashing! Turned log files off, repeat ... works absolutely fine! (I'd previously tried it 3 times including a reboot) The only thing that changed was remov...

The Avengers Assemble - Crashes MKV

MakeMKV v1.7.7 win(x86-release) started Using direct disc access mode IFO file for VTS #20 is corrupt, VOB file must be scanned. This may take very long time, please be patient. I'll assume the latter in view of the amount of time that has passed since reporting. That's a shame :(

Re: Blu-ray database

Hmmm. That may have been the one - damn my memory. That's certainly an excellent thread although lacks a lot of UK releases.

Thanks for the link - much appreciated! :)

Blu-ray database

I randomly stumbled across a post in here semi-recently that had a link to a database of Blu-Ray disc information including length of the film on the disc and other useful information.

Does anyone know what I'm referring to and can provide me with that link?

TIA

Re: Case 39 blu-ray

Your drive is unable to read the disc with a high enough accuracy to obtain a 1:1 copy. There is no copy protection that can cause this. There are only two possible causes: 1. The disc is dirty, damaged or poorly manufactured. 2. Your drive is failing. Number 1 is more likely, return the disc for a...

DASPI

Been reading a few topics on this.

One thing I'm not quite clear on - does MakeMKV install this automatically by itself or do I need to install it manually?

If manually, where's the recommended place to download it from?

TIA
