Re: Disc won't open

1.89 wasn't out when I reported this, it was happening with 1.88

I also tried 1.87 - same problem

I have just tried 1.89 - same problem.

On the basis that DVD Decrypter can handle these discs it has to be a bug :(

Re: Disc won't open

Just follow the advice - you have to change something - the drive, region or firmware. Hmm. I'm not so convinced. I get that message all the time and never had a problem. I'm region 2, as is my drive, as are the discs. I never use discs outside my region and have never changed the region on the dri...

Disc won't open

It scans the disc as normal and finds the five tracks that are on there. However, it keeps on scanning for about another 40 minutes and eventually bombs out and takes me back to the main menu. Re: Failed to save title

I've just had the exact same thing on another disc too. Discs are Blu-rays of an English comedian called Michael McIntyre. Here's the other one Using direct disc access mode Title #00008.mpls has length of 20 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 30 seconds and was therefore skipped Tit...

Re: To Compress or not to compress?

FWIW I think one of the biggest issues is how big the screen you intend to watch it on is as well as your eyesight. There will be an "optimum" resolution that your eye cannot tell the difference between. I remember some warez group years ago stating that they reckon 6500kbps is about the m...

Forced subtitles

Can someone help me with forced subtitles. I thought I knew what they were and how to use them, but it's not working for me so I guess I'm doing something wrong. My interpretation of forced subtitles is a movie you're watching with subtitles off, but if there is foreign dialogue the subtitles will a...

Re: Wrong screen size

However, VLC might be scaling It was actually when I played it on the telly that I noticed. I just chucked it in VLC for the purposes of a screenshot. I actually decided to sit and watch it because I was curious, and oddly this is actually how the original film plays (to my surprise.) It starts off...

Wrong screen size

Just copied Enchanted Bluray and instead of taking up the fullscreen it creates a smaller, but proportional, window.

Is this an issue or do I need to change a setting somewhere?

Many thanks

Brave has few playlists for different languages which are different only by some minor details like short clip with move title etc. That's why you have so many titles :)

Ahhh I see.

Out of curiosity, am I able to manually save single segments (to view the differences)

That's the geek in me :)
