For my typical usage the automatic disk scan is useless and makes me wait every time I start MakeMKV.

I could live with a preview of subtitles that has to scan the movie first. I bought a 512GB SSD for remuxing and MakeMKV only takes about 2 minutes for one movie. This includes write operations. Scanning for subtitles should be even faster, because reading is faster than writing on SSDs. The problem...

I went for "PGS->VOBSUB", because it includes "bdsup2sub", even if I don't want VOBSUB. What I really want is a preview for subtitles! This is the most needed feature for MakeMKV.

This problem still exists. If I use the latest MakeMKV beta and create a separate forced subtitle track for my Avatar remux, the subtitles will stay forever, until a new forced subtitle is displayed. I tried to play it with VLC (OSX) and Dune Smart HD and both show the same wrong behavior. VLC seems...
