Re: Verbatim 43888 & 43890
Hi, just bought this drive and am trying to get MakeMKV to read the BluRay I'm putting in. The system reads it fine and I can even mount it, but MakeMKV is stuck on just loading the disc. Any way I can fix this or am I screwed because this is an BU40N on Firmware 1.05? No idea how to add links on t...

Re: Verbatim 43888 & 43890
So I have a 43888 with BU40N flashed to firmware 1.03 I got a few months ago and I've noticed something and wanted to ask if this was normal behavior for these drives. On some, but not all, discs (for example Pulp Fiction 4k and Aliens 4k, but not the Lord of the rings series 4k or Alien 4k), I get ...

Re: Lord of the Rings + The Hobbit 4K (Finally!)
So first time ripping. Do I only want the one with chapters? i.e. the one big 70gb file, and I can ignore the 70gb file that doesn't have chapter markers and the first, 3rd and 4th ones as well? I ripped all 5 parts of it and the 3rd and 4th files at ~200mb each were both black. 1st was just warning...

Re: 4K Blueray rip to MKV almost 2x size of backup and disc
I have the exact same issue, there seem to be 2 copies of the same movie on some 4k blu rays although i'm not sure if theres any differences. I'm trying to rip the lord of the rings movies now and just doubled all of them. I'm not sure which one is correct though. I also have the BD-RE B40N. Not sur...
