I have followed the Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2026 and used MartyMcNuts' New! GUI SDF tool

My Drive now shows like this in MakeMKV and appears to be working

Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BD-RE BU40N
Revision: 1.03
Serial number ...

Even though it showed otherwise, this drive is not capable of 4K Reading/Ripping
