Re: Burnt subtitles?
Hmmmm I must be doing something wrong? I rip them though MKV and then opened up handbrake, went to the subs, and it does list language, but only English-- which is fine, but I know this disc has multiple languages. I selected it. tried to process it and it didn't recognise the sub at all. Says 0: En...

Re: Burnt subtitles?
That are a number of things that can affect subtitles. One is that DVD subtitles are different than Bluray subtitles. You cannot include BD subtitles in MP4 files, for example, but there is an extension to allow DVD subtitles in them. To do BD subtitles, you MUST use MKV files and a compatible play...

Burnt subtitles?
Hi folks, I'm working off a mac, and the vast majority of dvds I've burnt with MakemKV automatically do subs, which is ideal because I am deaf, I need them. I just tried to digitise my copy of Dr Strangelove. It definitely has subs on the dvd so I don't know why it's not doing it here. It did not em...

Re: What is the deal with the KEY?
I DEMAND that a key that actually works be posted in this thread ASAP. Several months ago I was ripping TV shows to put on Plex and just found out that I accidentally ripped one episode twice with one copy of the episode mislabled as the episode I misssed. People really do shock me sometimes. You g...

Re: Payment site down?
Who knows. Being that I ripped a bunch of my library so I could watch it on my home server, I thought that if the public key was expired, then a purchased key would be effective. Considering how much I used MakeMkv, I thought it was worth the $60 USD to continue using. So I submitted payment. I did...

Re: MakeMKV not recognised?
Thank you mate. I will try to do this and see if it resolves. If not, I'll reply here again. Cheers!
Edit - that seems to have done it. Thank you kindly!

MakeMKV not recognised?
Hi, I put in the code for this month, and then got an error every time I tried to run it. When I entered it, it accepted it and then crashed. Every time I try to open it it says "Fatal error occurred, programme will now exit." Every time I tried to run MakeMKV, it said the same thing and c...

Re: ripping extras on blu-ray? (M4 imac)
Hi! I figured it out! When playing the burned episodes on VLC, the audio commentaries are under different audio options. So it burned the entire episode with the commentaries available, or just the regular dialogue. Thank you so much for your patience with me working through all of this. I appreciat...

Re: ripping extras on blu-ray? (M4 imac)
Thank you so much for the replies. I did manage to mark it as expert mode as instructed. Not sure what that did, but I clicked it. I tried to do as instructed to select the BDMV files. They are greyed out and I cannot select them. When I select the BDMV file I get this error. When I go find the back...

ripping extras on blu-ray? (M4 imac)
Hi folks! Thank you to the mod who kindly gave me the key to keep trying this product before purchase. I did manage to successfully burn a disk of the Twilight Zone blu-rays, and I appreciate it. I purchased these blu-rays because they had extras-- director commentaries, etc. But I am still having t...

Re: trial expired within a few days and wasn't able to try it on bluray?
Hi, Is there a way to get another key to try the blu-rays before purchase? If it works I'm more than happy to purchase the permanent key. But as it expired after only a few days, and I am certainly a novice in this area, I didn't have time to try it on what I needed. How do I get another key for ano...

trial expired within a few days and wasn't able to try it on bluray?
Hi folks I have an M4 imac, verbatim 43888. I have some blurays I wanted to try to make sure worked before purchasing. I don't have a telly, so I don't have a regular blu-ray player, and have no choice but to use imac. I downloaded the MakeMKV trial for mac, and it let me see dvds fine, great. But I...
