How does one do this? I'm having this issue with disc 4 and I can't even find videos on how to use BDedit let alone having clear instructions on the website.

just tried earlier today, as some say, it does have a bunch of duplicates, but thats hardly new

what was new was that i was unable to extract the easter eggs, they consist of a still frame letter followed by some short clips including a breakdancing hogarth
my guess is that the still frame letter ...

So for Death Note i figured out a work around, i hope it can help somebody else

seems you can extract the episodes by loading the playlists at BDMV/PLAYLIST into MKVToolNix after making a backup without the encryption, the seem to be 00005.mpls - 000011.mpls on each disc are the episodes ...

i haven't tried it myself but there is a section for enabling the decryption engine in vlc, int the preferences -> integration settings menu
