DASPI Kernel Extension and Yosemite -> End of the game ?
Hi,
It seems that the latest DASPI driver is no more working in OS X Yosemite.
What will be the impact not using it in Yosemite ?
Any chance to get a "compatible" version ?

Re: Is there a way to Select HD Audio by default through the
I really don't see what's so difficult about this line: -sel:all,+sel:(deu|eng|nolang),-sel:(core),-5:(forced*(eng)),-10:(deu),-15:(forced*(deu)) Cooking this up once certainly beats having to remux each file. I must say that, even if I use a similar config (thanks to you by the way !), it is absol...

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
YEEEEEES ! v1.7.10 now supports have blank names for audio streams ! Thanks you so much ! Related question : is there any "magic trick" I can use in the profile to set the default audio track names to a blank value ? (blanking audio track names is now the only last manual operation that su...

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
It's a sooooo long time since Mike said it will be coming soon,. 1.7.9 is out and there is still no way to have a default value for audio track filed "name" set at nothing (blank) and let the MKV player determine (and translate/present) the track name based on it's specification (metatdata...

Hmm, did not find out how. I use Mkvtoolnik 5.7.0_2012-07-11-cd22 on Mac OSX.Chetwood wrote:You could do it with a batch for MKVToolnix.

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
You can do this in GUI if you enable expert mode. Hello Mike, Any chance to have the "blank" field feature in the next release ? I just received my Blu-Ray Battlestar Galactica TV Show and would like to rip it, but having 70 episodes to manually edit in MkvToolnix is not a very fun perspe...

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
Weird, cause the new line works as supposed for me (using german instead of french). Maybe I misunderstood what tracks you want. Also, the GUI language selection says "fre" instead of "fra", apparently both work. -sel:all deselect all tracks +sel:(fre|eng|nolang) select all trac...

Re: Copy to NAS performance?
Edit - Changet Gb -> Mb/sec. --- Hi! I know for sure :) that there was / is an article here over MakeMKV forums on enhancing the copy transfer speed over lan/wlan to NAS drive (currently my speed is only 1.5 - 2 Mb/sec) on Windows but I can not find the tip (burried within some discussion chain...)...

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
I will try the new line tomorrow. What is the difference between -15:forced and the previous : -5:forced ? Is it something related to "priority or order" ? Just tried the new parameters : not better (worst in fact) more DD track selected that I need to manually remove. I keep the previous...

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
Thanks a lot !!! Definitely not very user friendly but looks like so powerful. And also - it would appear - wrong. The proper line should read -sel:all,+sel:(fre|eng|nolang),-sel:(core),=-10:fre,-15:forced Let us know if it works. The previous line was working : French and English selected for Audi...

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
I don't get it. What's the problem having a blank space in Mediainfo? Well, if not blank the player takes the value of the field as the name, so if there is a blank space the track name will be a blank space. If the field is empty the player takes the track specification to build the name : format,...

Re: Change Audio-Track/Stream Name for BluRay/DVD rips
Yes, in fact it really has to be blank or null to work correctly. I'm currently ripping my whole BluRay collection (each time two audio languages and respective subtitles) and you cannot imagine the time it takes to : Select video, audio, subtitles in the language I need (english and French). I did ...

Unfortunately not, latest version still does not accept an empty string and revert to the default name...mike admin wrote:You can do this in GUI if you enable expert mode.
