Re: Now You See Me jumps all over the place
Does anyone know the details for the extended edition (also purchased from Amazon)? Does anyone know that the .mpls file is... or failing that, the correct info for the EXTENDED edition. e.g. Name: Now You See Me (English) Source file name: 00752.mpls Duration: 2:00:01 Chapters count: 17 Size: 24.9 ...

Re: Unselect All tips?
Just wanted to bump this for Mike, as these are really good UI features that would make a big difference to regular users. - The collapse, right click title -> De select all is not intuitive for new users. It really needs to be a labelled button above the tree - the ability to auto-de select non-Eng...

Re: Reign of Fire
I also just got the Bluray of this from Amazon US last week, and experiencing the same issues creating the MKV with MakeMKV. Doing a bit of research on the web I can't find any evidence that a lot of people with physical bluray players are having problems... it seems exclusively an issue for bluray ...

Confirm that the 2400 second workaround also works for v1.74 on Windows. Otherwise, the .exe crashes out.

Re: New member media player experiences and feedback
I personally use XBMC running on Windows 7, and all my MKVs are stored on a SMB/Win-mounted NAS. No issues reading any MKVs and I only rip the main title and English + forced sub-titles. The beauty of an OS-based NAS (aka HTPC) is that old software/drivers/codecs aren't an issue. For the record, the...

Re: Win explorer crashes when I navigate to folder with MKVs
Well I received my response from DivX tonight which was a very polite - Take a Walk Corporate response. I would suggest anyone with DivX just remove it from their system I second that. DivX was interesting a few years back, but it's quality has just gone downhill. It's player is inferior to VLC, it...

Re: Best compression while maintaining quality
That requires a re-burn to physical media, but for those of us that use a NAS over a physical disc library this isn't really an answer. I'd imagine the question relates to achieving a .MKV format but optimally compressed video that doesn't affect quality visibly. I hear Handbrake quite often on this...

Re: Feature Request: Select All/None Titles
I was wondering the same thing... I'll have to try out the CTRL click thing but I do agree a select/deselect all would be intuitive.

Re: Got those Hurt Locker blues. :(
No problems ripping Hurt Locker here with 1.6.16. Mine is lossless + 5.1 normal with English subtitles. Standard settings. P.S. Of the 40 or so Blurays I've done so far, only Crank 2 and Watchmen Director's Cut give me issues. But never a disk reading issue, and never backing up the full blu-ray. It...

For what it's worth, I had no issues ripping my US First class blu-ray with 1.16.15. The MKV plays just fine including all audio and subtitle tracks.

Re: Wtachmen Director's cut - failed to open disc
It's an on-going issue with parsing this particular Blu-ray - and maybe a few others. Both 1.6.15 and 1.6.16 can read and do a backup to hard drive just fine, but converting to MKV is a problem whether reading from the blu-ray or from hard drive folder. The debug message I get is a timeout of some k...

Re: Planet Earth Blu Ray
The episodes are called "Deserts" and "Ice Worlds", and I also have the David Att version. On the back of the box it says 1080i, 16:9, 4 x Blu-ray 25 disks. I just ripped the complete series and has no issues at all... my player is an LG LiteOn. Just in case this helps... most of...
