If only ripping CD/DVD/BD and not UHD, then any blu-ray drive will work. It just won't have LibreDrive enabled.

Can you suggest something similar? I like the Pioneer's compact size for carrying in my laptop's case. I will use it for ripping CDs, DVDs, and BDs.

Pioneer UHD drives are now supported more info about that will be coming from the developer and once the info is out ...
