Just tried The H.K. Triad from Mega Star and got the same sort of problems. An ISO can be backed-up and plays okay in VLC, but trying to extract the video tracks with makemkv mostly results in super-long videos of nothing.

FWIW I Just ran into trouble with the same DVD as the first post ("A Chinese Ghost Story 2" distributed by Mega Star). What's different now is that that after showing a big pile of warnings and attempts to work around it, it didn't fail, but instead produced an mkv file that has lots of pl...
