Re: New Feature Request

That was a bizarre quote then in post #4, Anyway I'm glad more people are interested in such a feature.

Because I really want to know why: What is the usecase of this? You have to place the disc in the tray anyway, so you also can either give the tray a slight nudge or press the button on the disc drive to close the tray.
From your wording I take it as you are one of the developers, right?

Re: New Feature Request

Thanks, and I don't think the implementation is extreme, Basically all drives accept the load/close command, So not a lot of change is needed, the same button could be repurposed for both ejecting and closing by just knowing what the last action was, or a new button could be added. I'm not a coder s...

Re: New Feature Request

I'll give you two reasons, 1- If the drive is connected externally to the computer and just sitting on the desk it's hard to push the close/load button or the tray, it will slide the entire drive backward, So closing the tray from the program makes it much more convenient and safe, 2- Some computers...

Re: HD-DVD Rip Problems

The errors I'm getting are medium related, so I don't think changing the way you rip them will help, Albeit changing the drive may help as I put some of the failed discs in my HD-DVD home player and they played just fine by skipping into each chapter and playing back few seconds.

Re: "Fake playlist" protection - help needed

Is this type of encryption still relevant? I'm ripping my Blu-ray collection, most discs are from 2000's and 2010's, how do I know if I'm getting correct rips?

New Feature Request

Can you guys add "Load" button next to eject on the Toolbar so the disc tray can be closed from the app? Thanks.

The disc is very clean, no obvious scratches or dirt.

HD-DVD Rip Problems

Trying to rip my HD-DVD collection to HDD and I'm facing problems with a lot of discs, I thought it was the dreaded disc rot but I'm not entirely sure, My drive is HL-DT-ST BD-RE GGW-H20L YL05 (USB3 plugged) on a Windows 11 64bit using makemkv rip app, The problematic discs do not list the main feat...
