Just wanted to leave another positive review for Billy. The drive arrived fast and it works like a charm. Glad I bought from him.

Had a similar experience myself. I ended up flashing on another machine...actually my laptop...which was pretty straight forward. Then I reconnected the drive to my Plex server (Ubuntu). FWIW... I've found makemkvcon on the command line in Ubuntu (22.04 LTS) to be occasionally unstable (for flashing...

Two edits:

1. There is a similar dump for this disc, but for a different region and code submitted on Nov 22nd....I think I should have posted there and I'll search first next time.

2. I've tried the latest keydb.cfg and restarted MakeMKV. This did not help.

Thanks for your reply dcoke22. I'll try that next time... I think I did everything except hard power down. I have since switched to using the graphical Ubuntu version (installed through snap after enabling graphics/desktop env on Ubuntu Server 22.04) and after failures there I have not had the same ...

This is happening to me too on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. About half way into mkv the output file stops updating its time and size. The process goes defunct. Any further attempts to run makemkvcon go nowhere. Trying to figure out a way to get it working again without a total system reboot. No errors. Last ou...
