Enough is enough. I get tired of having to build makemkv every #$%^&*() time you have a minor release.
Please do what every other software distributor knows how to do: build a package and put it in a repo.
It takes about 2-4 hours work. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. DO IT and stop wasting our time!

Re: Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1
What is especially pathetic about this tactic is that it won't ever bother anybody actual pirates. They'll have a profit motive, perhaps better tools, and this tactic won't bother them one bit. It is only legitimate users trying to put their library to a file server who will get hindered.

I've managed to get past it. IIRC, I needed to do a revdep-rebuild

can't build makemkv_v1.7.2_oss; get "no moc-qt4" error
I've never seen this error before: which: no moc-qt4 in (... {path}...
I recently upgrade qt to version 4.8.1.
Is the problem that the latest qt has moved/removed moc-qt4? Or is it a new requirement for building makemkv...oss?

Feature request for makemkv -- only forced subtitles
makemkv allows the user to select the default subtitles preference, but they forgot about the concept of forced subtitles. I speak and understand english just fine, but want the forced english subtitles when the actors are speaking a different language. I want just the forced subtitles for such scen...

Re: Feature suggestions -- drive locking and multiple instan
About ten releases later and this nasty bug still hasn't been fixed. If you start multiple instances makemkv, they will all try try to simultaneously access all drives and tie themselves into a knot. Each one has to have the red X hit about ten times to unclaw them. I've eventually come up with a wo...

Re: Feature suggestions -- drive locking and multiple instan
You can select a drive and disable auto-scan if you use command-line version. That's kind of like telling somebody who has taken their car in for a shimmy that they can walk. It is probably not news for them that they have feet and not a real solution. I'm somewhat aware of the command line version...

Re: Feature suggestions -- drive locking and multiple instan
About 10 releases later, and makemkv still gets it's panties in a bind when multiple instances are open. All of them try to open the first drive. One has to either wait 5 minutes for them to get over their bullish behavior, or kill each one about six times. How freaking hard would it be to put a com...
