Yes thats the movie.

I read after, this is the anamorphic widescreen...

But the WD TV can' t recognize this , so it plays it as a standard 4:3 ....

In the downloaded mediainfo app show this information: 720:576 in 4:3 format.

Can I somehow change this setting in the mkv?

I tried it with some old discs and there is no such problem...

Then it must be a disc specific error?

It's look like a wide screen movie... Horizontally fills the entire screen.

After converting it's look like a 4:3 movie, but in the picture there is the full information.


This is the opposite case of viewing old 4:3 movie on new 16:9 screen...

Sorry, but i didn't read all the post and at first sight I doesn't see the answer at my problem. So. I use this tool to make backups from my DVD-s ans BR-s. Its working perfect with BluRay discs. In a case of a DVD it makes correctly the mkv file, but with 4:3 aspect ratio. :roll: If I look the orig...
