Re: mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium refuses to rip
i have seen the log say something like unable to down SVQ using built in SVQ witch suggests that it is trying to get the SVQ from the disk but since the file is reading as corrupt then it is using the SVQ built into the application.

Re: mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium refuses to rip
where does the SVQ files live? are they on the disk or in the os or does it have to access the internet? i have a new bluray drive on order from macsales.com that is not usb powered rather has external 12 volt power supply. also studios are constantly looking for ways to prevent copying the movies s...

suggestion: post decrypt and change icons
it would be nice if there was an option to post decrypt bluray disks. that would copy the contents to the mac and then decrypt it on the mac rather than loading a packet from disk and decrypt and write to hard drive. since bluray disks are not like dvd (as far as i know of) where there bogus sectors...

Re: Reintroduce Mac OS X 10.5 compatibility!
Its complicated. yes you are right Its complicated because to make something more compatible many os specific stuff would have to be done with bloated code. for example lets say repeat with x = 1 to 10 delay 1 print x end repeat is the specific for doing the display of a counting now the bloated wa...

Re: disc doesn't even mount!
That's exactly what I did (at least on several of my attempts). A typical exercise: turn off blu-ray drive, turn on blu-ray drive, start up MakeMKV, insert blu-ray, use MakeMKV to eject blu-ray, re-insert blu-ray, use MakeMKV to eject blu-ray, quit MakeMKV, turn blu-ray drive back on, start MakeMKV...

Re: disc doesn't even mount!
This is a common problem on Mac OS X. The reason is that UDF file system driver in OS X is quite limited (sad but true), and if Mac OS X doesn't recognize the disc, it instantly ejects it. Please use the following sequence - launch MakeMKV, and then insert the disc. MakeMKV will "hold" th...

blu ray disk refuses to mount
i dont know if this is the right place to post so you mods are welcome to move to the correct place i have the movie collision earth on blu ray and the disk will not mount. the drive attempts to read then ejects the disk. is this a new copy protection designed to prevent ripping by force ejecting th...

Re: "Cinavia" watermark protection
THIS CAN'T BE STRESSED ENOUGH - Please DO NOT make any reports based on anything "other than" BACKUP COPIES YOU YOURSELF HAVE MADE of legitimate, commercial discs, because doing so will render this effort useless. "Other than" includes any and all downloads, screeners, cams, cop...

Re: BEOWULF_GRENDEL
that's right because by taking it to a stand alone blu ray player defeats my purpose of ripping it.
and if you read the error report you would see that there are authentication, key and other errors

Re: BEOWULF_GRENDEL
no i did not play it completely i only played it on the computer long enough to grab the keys.
i have learned from the mtr forums that a dvd needs to be played for a few seconds to get the keys.

Re: BEOWULF_GRENDEL
