Re: Has Makemkv got any better when ripping TV series
Don't click the big drive icon but use the second icon in the top row and backup to folder instead of MKV. Sorry I don't think you understood what I meant, I know how to do that but why do it that way in the first place how does it make it easier to identify the right episode order? Because it rips...

Re: Has Makemkv got any better when ripping TV series
Will try it that way thanks, but could you tell me how it's any different from doing it straight from disc? Has Makemkv got any better when ripping TV series
I haven't done a TV show for ages it was always painfully slow to get the files in the right order, has Makemkv got any better at this.

Re: Back to the Future 3 rip fail
Literally just a soft cloth. I didn't spray it with anything. All the disc had on it was my own fingerprints (which are definitely on other discs I've ripped). I can try some kind of glass cleaner and see. Definitely not a good way to clean discs, get the disc nice and wet with the cleaning solutio...

Re: Spider-Man (2002) 4K Blu-ray Giving Read Errors Only in MakeMKV
Shame sounds like a defective disc then, as it's just one disc I would keep on cleaning it to see if it it will just about manage the rip. it's frustrating when it happens so far I have managed to get my discs ripped by cleaning and cleaning. Post up the errors here just to make sure it's a read err...

Re: Newbie: UHD Read times on MakeMKV
Ok thanks. So far I have used a damp microfiber cloth with a little dishsoap and then dry microfiber cloth wiping center outwards towards the end of the disc as recommended in other areas here. I am using a Vantex Nestar SX2 enclsoure plugging directly into a blue motherboard usb 3.0 port. Let me k...

Re: Spider-Man (2002) 4K Blu-ray Giving Read Errors Only in MakeMKV
That's a shame it didn't work, hopefully the new disc will work, does it fail to rip straight away? if it fails again when you get the new disc post the debug log and I'm sure people will able to see what's going on and help, but that's always the first stage is to clean a problem disc even if it's ...

Re: UHD FAQ
Do a search for Revo Uninstaller in Google, that software will get rid of all of the extra files so when you install MakeMKV again it will be a fresh install. Do a search for New Devices or In Device Manager uninstall reboot and then it will pick it up, I wouldn't worry about it not showing up as it...
