I recently got the Verbatim Slimline 4k UHD drive (BD-RW BDR-UD03) as well. I tested some stuff and most people said it worked straight out of the box, the only UHD Blu-ray I have to test didn't work. It refuses to read it and says there's no disc inserted. I came upon this thread and hope to flash...
