Any more news on this? I already have an Asus BW-16D1HT and an LG slim. I would love to add a Pioneer to the lot.

According to Billy, it looks like the wait is almost over. Fingers crossed my XS07S is compatible!

Finally bit the bullet and bought an XS07S off Amazon for $130. I can see the prices going up quickly as more people find out about this, so better now than later. Wouldn't it be a treat if the drive arrived with pre-2022 FW? Extremely unlikely but a man can dream! Otherwise I am going to patiently ...
