Re: What is the deal with the KEY?
I tried using the new key, and it just kept tripping the "too old" notification for no clear reason every time. I had to redownload the entire application (and force my Mac to let it open again), and it is now working. Just in case other people are getting a similar problem.

Re: Doctor Who - The Collection Rip Error
Yes, that is exactly what I was meaning. The Simplified Editions are not the same at all. They remove one of the most important parts of the releases (the production booklets) and use significantly-inferior packaging. No-one intelligent would wait two whole years for a worse product for no reason. ...

Sent that message without bothering to count - I knew it was around there somewhere. It's before 7AM here and no coffee. I have bought them all . That photo only shows 15. Two of them are wrong. Huh? I took that picture. There's 17. Are you referring to the fact that two of them are smaller than th...

Re: Doctor Who - The Collection Rip Error
I wouldn’t know. All I do know is that it does it with mine as well. It’s probably an issue along the lines of how the actual menu itself is usually a six-hour-long loop) as shown when playing it on VLC), but the disc reports the length based on the length of a single iteration with chapters for eac...

That file is the menu screens. They've never cooperated with MakeMKV because their entire functionality would break if presented as their own file.
Audio navigation is something else entirely. That's all the (usually 50 or so) files that are only a few seconds each towards the end of each disc.

Re: Combine alternative angles (original/updated effects) into one file
Generally speaking it is one video stream per .mkv file. That's why I asked whether there is "any way these can be combined into one file" rather than whether MakeMKV specifically has such an option. I have also since realised that the commentary tracks are somewhat more to blame for the ...

Combine alternative angles (original/updated effects) into one file
Hello, everyone. New poster here. I've been spending the past few weeks importing my Doctor Who DVD&BD collection onto external drives, but I keep running out of space too early and having to clear some other things from them to make space. The main culprit is that any episode with optional upda...
