Re: Ich will alles. Hildegard Knef
Did you also email the TGZ file to svq@makemkv.com so that it can be updated in MakeMKV?

Re: Flow (2024) AACS file
The attached file did not work, possibly because of file size (4.0MB limit).
Getting the file to MakeMKV takes emailing it to svq@makemkv.com . Getting it to the keydb people involves posting it to a website (there are many, including Google) and providing a link they can use to pull it.

Re: New Beta Key Requires Version Beyond 1.18.1?
There have been many reports of people having problems with the 1.18.x versions of MakeMKV on Linux.
The new beta key works with all versions, so installing a 1.17.x version usually works.

Re: This disc uses newer version of AACS protection.
A LOT of disks with AACS version 82 issues need to have keys added to MakeMKV. Submit the TGZ file to svq@makemkv.com for Mike to look at.
You may also wish to post it for the keydb people, so they can independently generate a key.

Re: purchased a key no longer works
If you PURCHASED and INSTALLED a non-beta key, it should work "forever". The archive that you download contains a beta key, and the one in it is already expired, but an installed version with a key already in place should work.

Re: Is MakeMKV Still Alive? Can't Buy License, Beta Key Expired
When did you last try buying a license? The beta key was renewed a month ago (it expires the end of this month) and buying a key was fixed at the same time. Any attempts since then should work just fine.

Re: Key error
what program do you want help with? The key for MakeMKV is valid for MakeMKV, not other programs. And this is the MakeMKV forum.

Re: What is the deal with the KEY?
The beta version is the same program as the purchased version, except the key expires every 2 months. The key in the download expired back in July, for example, and there is a message that gets updated with a new key when the old one expires, but not instantly. Buying the program gets you a permanen...

You realise that VLC will skip over small bad spots, while MakeMKV wants solid copy, right?

Re: 300 fails to be recognized by computer completely
Different offsets often means the drive reached a speed that exceeded available power. Several ways to fix that, the "best" being to fully-power your drive.

Re: Jurassic Park III AACS dump
Attachment fail, likely due to size (4.0MB limit). Use email to svq@makemkv.com if you want to submit to MakeMKV directly, and post the file on a public download site and provide a link here for the keydb people.

Define "quality scanning". It either reads a disk, or it doesn't.

Re: Dump file for AACS v82 disc
So far, there is no way for anyone, especially the MakeMKV author, to determine just what disk you're referring to. Please put the disk NAME in the subject field, email the generated dump file (it will be bigger than 475 bytes!) to svq@makemkv.com, and (optionally) post it where it can be retrieved ...
