Re: The Conjuring last rites
You need to email the TGZ file to svq@makemkv.com for Mike to see it and process it. If you want to contribute to the keydb database as well, you can upload the file to, say, google, and post a link to the result (make sure it's public!) here as well. There is a 4.0MB limit on forum uploads, which i...

Re: F1, 28 Years Later, Jurassic World Rebirth
So, the tgz file...what do you do with it? If you know how to extract a key from it, you can do that. Otherwise, like me, you ignore it and let those who CAN generate keys do so. Typically, there are only 3 or 4 people who will download the TGZ file and work to update the master key files at keydb...

Re: Asus BW-16D1X-U
At a guess, I'd say the reason things are being sent via private messages has to do with the fact that "the fix" varies with the drive... and sending the WRONG "fix" to someone could brick their drive.

Your pictures cannot be displayed - the links aren't images, they are pages that will display images after loading.

Re: MKV Framerate
Most Bluray disks are at movie frame rates (23.976+/- a fraction). DVDs often are at 25-30 fps, depending on whether they're US or not.
If you NEED the faster frame rate, you would generally have to recode the video. MakeMKV simply copies what the original is.

Re: Downton Abbey The Grand Finale
No need to post the file, especially if it's bigger than 4.0MB... which is too big for a file upload. Email the file to svq@makemkv.com if you want MakeMKV to directly support the disk. For those who use keydb, the way is to post the file to a public download site (Google has one, but there are lots...

Re: v82 AACS dump for "STAR BLAZERS REBEL 3199: CHAPTER 4"
Dumps should be submitted via email to svq@makemkv.com for processing. You can also upload it to a download service (like Google or similar) and post a link for the keydb people to pull it, and add it to the keydb database. Posting the actual file here only works if it is smaller than 4.0mb, and it ...

Old versions are all available at https://makemkv.com/download/old/ , so version 1.18.1 would be https://makemkv.com/download/old/makemk ... .1_osx.dmg for MacOS.

So long as you have the key that was sent to you, you can put it in on any computer you own, be it a Mac, PC, or Linux box.

Re: AACSv82 dump for Jallikattu
The ways to remedy this situation is to submit the file generated by MakeMKV for the disk to svq@makemkv.com (so the disk can officially be supported), and upload that file to a public place (like Google uploads) and sending the link to it in a message here for the keydb people to find. Just saying ...

Re: Question re License terms
Mike has always been sparing with details on the license. It IS part of the start-up for the program during the install, with the opportunity to print it out. You can see it while running the installer, before it gets to writing programs to the drive. As for the question of "how many copies can...

Re: Shin Godzilla Black & White
The problem is any file that exceeds 4.0MB will fail with that message. You should EMAIL the file to svq@makemkv.com for Mike to receive it, and if you wish the keydb people to also generate a key, they'll want you to upload it to a site like Google or other site, and provide a public link to downlo...

Re: Contact Information
If you've already purchased a license, you can ask Mike to re-send you the key. The address given above, support@makemkv.com , with your email address you used when you obtained the key before, should be all you need.
