Re: Help with DBZ Broly blu-ray image file
So far, we have little to work from. It sounds like whatever you used to make the image file skipped errors it found and just wrote what it could. That left you with errors that will prevent MakeMKV from properly parsing the data. You may want to clean the disk and retry making the copy that you are...

Re: issue with buying a license
On the purchase page, https://www.makemkv.com/buy/ , it has a note: Due to some technical issues, one cannot purchase MakeMKV for a moment. You have to use it for free :) Please use the current beta key to unlock all features: T-BSaJ6gwgMx4eIggWkVYXiVP_6zehm7WAO9dEydvzOHFHoZ6YQ82BL5cGpYDxvyRWnS That...

Re: Purchase Page Down
The cost is adjusted by PayPro to your country. In general, it is equivalent to USD 60, with any taxes your government imposes. For example, in the U.S., the state of Illinois doesn't charge tax on software, but Tennessee does.

Re: Failed read on brand new disc?
The location of the log file should be reported by MakeMKV during start-up, regardless of the operating system. That makes it easy to find later, but... it is also something you can highlight/copy/paste from the main window most of the time. It will tell you things like, 004004:0000 The source file ...

Re: Failed burn on brand new disc?
OK, the log will show why MakeMKV couldn't save the file, especially if you've got full logging enabled. You'll see a line like this on start-up: Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as C:\Users\[username]/MakeMKV_log.txt Copying/pasting the text inside code tabs here will tell us what MakeMKV w...

Re: Downsizing the files from MKV?
There wasn't a snapshot of the handbrake options in the original message I replied to, and my subsequent replies didn't take that snapshot into account. I only replied to what you posted as you went. Based on what was there, your selections depend on what your source is. You can do like me, have a c...

Re: Failed burn on brand new disc?
Posting pictures from a lot of sites don't work. The forum software supports links to certain (relatively safe) image types, but not to a web page that will have the image on it when it is displayed separately. Hint: if the link doesn't end in ".gif", ".png", or ".jpg",...

Re: Super slooooooooooowwwww site
If we could only process the requests of users, instead of bots, things would go much faster. Currently, as I post this message, there are "only" 6500 "people" visiting the site. If they were real people, instead of bots following every link they see, things would be fine. But th...

Re: Failed burn on brand new disc?
Assuming by "burn" you actually mean "read", "new in wrapper" basically means "a disk that has sat for months or years absorbing whatever it was packaged with". Any disk released more than 6 months before it was opened probably needs CLEANED. May not look like...

Re: Downsizing the files from MKV?
Generally speaking, there are a crapload of things you can change in handbrake... :) My personal use of it has been anchored in the days prior to the removal of all support for Windows 7 and earlier, and I actually use one of the old "SVN" branches because it still generates command line i...

Re: Failed installation - beta key now invalid
Assuming you haven't installed the revised beta key from MakeMKV is free while in beta yet, since you don't mention it. The current beta runs through the end of this month, so the key in the install file (several months old) will probably be expired...

Re: Downsizing the files from MKV?
In handbrake, Video tab, Quality, Constant Quality, adjust it until 20 shows up for the RF. It sets the quality that the encoder uses to convert the video. If you select different presets, it changes the quality to match, but most of the older presets set 20 or 22.

Re: Downsizing the files from MKV?
DVD disks are already limited in their quality; using an RF setting around 20 is pretty much the best you can manage. How much this will shrink things depends on your source... For anime, I typically see a reduction to about 15-20% of original size, non-anime can be as much as 50% of original. A lot...

Your system is not allowing the download of keys. There are messages bout this (how to bypass blocks by your DNS and other links) pinned to the top of the forum.Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed.

Re: Decryption delays
Delays can come from many sources. Submitting the dumps via email to SVQ@MAKEMKV.COM will get updated keys posted to the update file, which then must be downloaded by your machine. Do you get confirmation of successful download of the HK file when starting MakeMKV? If not, that will need to be addre...
