Re: Can't decrypt iso with keydb

A raw drive does what a raw drive is capable of. Libredrive loads new firmware into RAM to run the drive, so it is only active when Libredrive has been activated... after MakeMKV loads.

Re: Asks for new version

Guessing that people aren't reading the forum messages that explain about beta use...

MakeMKV is free while in beta

The current beta is more than 2 months old, so the key inside has expired. You need to use a current key with it.

Re: Question about UHD Blu-ray ripping workflow (LG/ASUS drives, firmware, NAS)

Honestly, storing your data on any NAS with some kind of redundancy so that you're not going to lose it all with one bad hard drive will put you miles ahead of most. And, depending on your paranoia level, having off-site backup can be important. Having TWO servers stolen or involved in a fire at on...

I also want it.
Providing your drive information, like what you quoted but for YOUR drive, would be helpful. Different drives need different updates.

Re: Errors with one disc in the Star Trek TNG box set

More likely a dirty disk. I've ripped the entire TNG series on BD in the past (and will be again soon), so I know it works.

Re: Pioneer Blu-ray players flashable for ripping in 4K Dolby Atmos

If the drive was manufactured after 12/2022, it won't be flashable due to firmware changes.

All drives from Pioneer are now "old stock", since they aren't made anymore, so the key is finding ones made before the cut-off date.

Considering that there are several topics about this, why do you feel it is necessary to start number 12000?

You realize that, if you purchase something from Microsoft "to support the author" of a program the author gives for free, you are supporting Microsoft, rather than the author?

Re: How long does it take to receive the license key?

In most cases, the key should arrive as fast as your email service processes messages. That is, most likely within a few minutes. It is probable that any delay beyond that is part of your filtering, i.e., if your email is filtered for spam, it may have been treated as such and stuffed into a special...

Re: Bleach TYBW Part 3

MKBv82 is a case where you need the decryption key for EVERY DISK, which is why you can't arbitrarily decode them. Submitting your file to svc@makemkv.com is the official way, and sending a copy of the file to the keydb people is an alternative method.

Re: MKB v82 volume key unknown for this disc- video can't be decrypted

Given that dozens of disks come out each week, knowing WHAT disk you're referring to would be helpful to anyone needing to know if their disk has been submitted.
