There are a number of ways disks can fail initially.

"Hangs during opening" is suspicious. Is it hanging while loading the disk, or after you loaded it and started extracting? They mean different things.

Most likely, your playback software does not support the audio track selected. Are you choosing ALL available tracks, or just the first listed for your language?

A number of BDs available now come with advanced audio tracks, and you have to select the proper one(s) for your playback device(s).

It is best to send the file to svq@makemkv.com, and just report the file name here.

Seems like a LOT of work for such a simple process. Maybe making ISO file is what is slowing you down so much. For my DVD usage, I just put the disk in place, and fill in the blanks that are left (not all disks fill in every blank). Mayhaps the "easy way" differs for many people... I know ...

Did you get the NEW key from the message? It isn't going to work with the old key. This is the key that has been needed for May and Jun, with the cut-over needed at the start of the month.

Yes, the download of 1.16.7 is beyond 2 months old, and is "out of date" using the included key.

However, you can access the current key using the link that always has the current beta key, i.e., MakeMKV is free while in beta.
