Re: Opening multiple instances of MakeMKV on Win10
Considering that you've tagged onto a 4+ year old topic and it still isn't implemented, I don't really think it's coming. Once you turn on "ask for single drive mode" in the Properties->IO box, you can turn single-drive mode on whenever you want, and assign a drive to the current instance ...

Is there a reason you couldn't tag on to the several existing Twister UHD key messages?

Try cleaning the disk. LOOKING "good" doesn't mean the disk doesn't have a film or other contamination.

Re: Error 'OS error - Device Timeout' The Goonies 4K UHD
Attaching logs doesn't work. Putting them in the message, surrounded by

tags does.
Time-out messages happen more often when the disk has bad spots the drive has to retry to read. Is that what is happening?

Re: is the i5-7200u good enough?
Considering that I've run multiple copies of MakeMKV on a old machine (back when Intel didn't use letters), anything as advanced as an i-series processor should be just fine. The most important thing is your drive(s).

Um, what disks are opaque? Most BDs and UHDs I've had are not transparent, but you can see through them fairly easily. It's especially evident with multi-layer disks.

That drive was built almost two years before UHD became available. Not likely it will ever do UHD.Firmware date: 2014-04-01

Re: Issue ripping bluray
OK, you have the opposite of my habit. I rip the individual titles, and skip the combined. Your error reports are at the point where the tracks are patched together to make the bigger track, and Funimation doesn't always do those "right". The seven tracks you have unchecked are the individ...

Re: VIDEO STUTTER WHEN ENABLING SUBTITLES
That's not standard - usually, there should be smooth playing. Quite likely, it's a problem with the router's sharing. The description seems to indicate that the router is doing video conversion, and having issue rendering the subtitles, rather than sending them to your TV to display.

Re: Issue ripping bluray
This is typical of a lot of "combined into one file" episodes. There is an overlap of audio (sometimes missing instead of overlapped) where one episode is joined to the next. On a normal playback, you would not hear it, because a player would skip the error. MakeMKV is trying to correct it...

Re: How to keep chapters when ripping my DVD's and Blu-ray's????
Ripping to MKV files is the DEFAULT. That's what the big-ass button that spins when loading the disk is for. Ripping to an ISO or similar uses a much smaller button in the top row. As for preserving chapters, that is also the default, when ripping a track that has chapters in it. Ripping to an ISO o...

And the 4-character code that says which version you submitted was ???
It's placed at the end of the .TGZ file name generated, and lets people know if their version of the disk has already been submitted.
