Re: Anyone doing anything with these?
Well, apparently the TESTDUMP debugging output doesn't kick in until you start to rip the disk. I set it up prior to opening one of the disks in question, but it generated no additional output. And, since the problem occurs during the opening scan, TESTDUMP won't help. I'll resubmit the standard rep...

Re: [RFE] don't exclude menus
It was my understanding that MKV format doesn't define a "menu". This was mentioned earlier in the week in another topic. Have you adjusted your minimum track length? The default 120 seconds excludes a LOT of "extras". I use 30, and get most everything except menu backgrounds. Se...

Re: Anyone doing anything with these?
Would the testdump be of help to you on disks that think the main title is a "fake title", i.e., when opening the disk ignores the primary titles, but shows all the extras? I'm referring to the two disks I've submitted reports on for each version since 1.6.3 or so, although I didn't do tha...

Re: Makemkv to Handrake issues after upgrade
No, I have not reported it. While I can duplicate it at will, there is nothing showing up in the log files that differs from a successful encoding to the "never finish" encodes, except for the lack of the final statistics and the message saying the encode finished. The x264 statistics are ...

Re: MakeMKV doesn't work without AnyDVD?
MakeMKV doesn't need AnyDVD running, period. If it is, it will interfere with things like BD processing. When I see the error you've posted, it's because the BD drive has decided to lock itself down. Usually, closing MakeMKV (and bring up the task manager to make sure the command line part exits, ki...

Re: Makemkv to Handrake issues after upgrade
Have to ask, what version of Handbrake, what settings, what player? I've been using the nightly builds of HB, using ripping with (almost) every version of MakeMKV since 1.5.6, and, if HB didn't crash during the encoding (it happens!), the files were always playable on VLC, Asus HDP, and Seagate Free...

Re: Ripping Stops at about 80%
Looks like the same error I get when the reader finds a scratch on the disk it can't compensate for.
Does it do the same on other disks?

Re: MakeMKV randomly won't work anymore
Are you sure you don't have a problem with the destination drive? Maybe it's full, or has a screwed up directory structure?

Re: MakeMKV randomly won't work anymore
Yes, if you enable logging, there is a log file, and its path is announced when you start up MakeMKV. Open the preferences menu, go to the General tab, and check "Log debug messages". Click OK, then restart MakeMKV for the change to take effect. After that, you will see something like this...

Re: Love to see chapters start 1 instead of 0
Chapter numbers or track numbers? All my rips show chapter numbers starting at 1.
