Hi,
Have a few Bluray drives and want to benchmark them to see which is the fastest and was wondering how I do that?
Also does a Usb 2.0 vs 3.0 enclosure make a difference?
Thank you

How to do concurrent operations at same time?
Hi, So basically I was wondering if its possible to run multiple instances (like 2-3) of Makemkv and access more than one drive at a time without interfering with another instance or drive? The problem is if you load another instance of Makemkv it will interfere with to process going on the first dr...

Re: Scored a cheap Libredrive capable Pioneer drive on Amazon
Just wanted to confirm for anyone else eyeing this drive that it does seem to be ripping an UHD bluray at 4X taking 1.5 hours though but without needing firmware modification or anything of the 1.02 ver rom that it came with. Cool.
Not bad for used.

Scored a cheap Libredrive capable Pioneer drive on Amazon
Wanted a new BDR-211M drive to replace my old BDR-211M that I had accidentally flashed to latest rom version loosing Libredrive and UHD support. So I found these guys on Amazon that call themselves the 'Produplicators' that were selling used BDR-211M Pioneer drives and decided to take a chance and o...

Re: Wanted firmware dump of BDR-211M including kernel please
Your right I failed. Unfortunately my hack requires that the names of the firmware files be as the utility expected it to be. Inserting the S11 roms you gave me into the 154 flash utility using resource hacker caused issues with the hacked utility unable to find the S8800601.154 file and complainin...

Wanted firmware dump of BDR-211M including kernel please
Hi, Spent christmas hacking my BDR-211M trying to roll back the firmware. So far unsuccessful but have a theory. Think the reason that my attempt to flash an older firmware ultimately failed was because the kernel on the drive was updated as well when I originally updated the rom. Thing is if you lo...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Hi,
Found a BDR-212UHBK drive for sale and the seller said it has firmware version 1.04. Was wondering is that firmware version too new for Libredrive UHD etc? The newest on Pioneers site is ver 1.05.
Thank you.
Edit: Striked out again. Not compatible according to research. Oh well.

Re: Soft bricked 1st gen WH14NS40
Hi guys, Got a used WH14NS40 (2012 - MT 1939) with bios version 1.0. Got it at a low cost so I can learn and experiment flashing. The guide says: "WH14NS40 on any Firmware directly to > WH16NS60 1.02MK". Confused on what flasher to use. The SDFtool flasher not compatible. Do I use the stoc...

Re: Worth updating firmware on the WH16NS40 to 1.05?
I didnt ask you about official manufacturer release made for that drive vs cross flash to unlock features. I was afraid if I upgrade the firmware to the last manufacturer release I would lose libredrive mode or direct access mode like I did on the Pioneer drive. I am sorry not trying to waste your t...
