Welp... I got a new drive to test out and by this point I had forgotten about the warnings of "do not flash desktop drive firmware to a slim drive".
For some reason I thought this flasher was supposed to prevent such silly mistakes.

So after my last UHD friendly drive took a crap, I finally replaced it with an LG WH16NS40. Checked to see if it'd load a UHD disc. Nope.
