yeah i assumed it was a problem with the disc, but i went out and bought another one of the same blu-ray set and i'm having the same issues

No it just lists the drive as it does empty

So when I try to rip this particular disc with makemkv the drive spins up the disc, makemkv begins it's loading cycle for a minute or so, then it reads "No disc inserted". It's the second disc (weirdly the first one worked fine) of the: Doctor Who: The Complete Thirteenth Series (Blu-ray ,...
