Generally speaking, you can use any normal blu-ray drive to rip 3D blu-rays with MakeMKV. While I'll refrain from endorsing any particular product, I've personally been fine using these as my internal drives for ripping discs including 3D movies: - LG WH14NS40 ... nice and affordable. - Pioneer BDR...

Got it. Thank you! Really appreciate your response, and your advice and meshes well with my initial research on the subject. Excited to get this going! I've got a rather large collection of about 150 3D Blu Rays and am really interested to see how they'll look on the headset with lossless quality

Wondering which drive I should purchase to start off my 3D Blu Ray ripping journey. Hoping to get something quick off of Amazon so that I can load up some of my 3D Blu Ray discs into my Quest 3 headset for an upcoming trip. Thank you!
