I was able to successfully flash the -MK firmware and am ripping my first UHD BD right now. Thanks to everybody who worked on this. Very impressive that my 8-yo drive is able to do this.

Is the drive info pulled from MakeMKV that says it's possible reliable here, or do I need to pull the drive and read the manufacture date? I bought this drive in the second half of 2016. From what I understand if I flash a drive that's too old I'll brick it, at least without heroic efforts to restor...
