Re: Marty or anyone else please help...MakeMKV not working with LG WH16NS40?

I have the flasher, the problem is it doesn’t work, as I think I stated before, that’s the problem. This is gonna be a potentially dumb and obvious question but, before you're attempting to run the flasher, you made sure your disc drive is empty and fully closed, yes? Of course. It wouldn’t try to ...

Re: Marty or anyone else please help...MakeMKV not working with LG WH16NS40?

First I tried USB3, but I realized this might cripple it a bit for obvious reasons, so I connected it directly to a PC and a Mac through SATA - not at the same time, obviously. Just to cover bases, assuming Windows, you've met the requirements? - Windows 10 64 bit version - MakeMKV v1.15.1 (or high...

Re: Marty or anyone else please help...MakeMKV not working with LG WH16NS40?

Yes I know, so I tried that, but the flasher doesn’t work. Just stays at 0% forever. I found a couple different ones that guides and people on here say *should* work, but none of them do. How is the drive attacked. Internal - SATA? External - USB? Some SATA > USB adapters/enclosures have problems p...

Re: Marty or anyone else please help...MakeMKV not working with LG WH16NS40?

I have the same drive, but every program just says there's no disc in the drive. Do I need to use a VPN as well for it to work? On Windows, it just acts like I haven't put any media in the drive, even if I did, and any flashing programs just fail to flash. Normal blurays read fine, but 4K ones just...

Re: SDFtool Flasher

Most likely your chip in the enlosure doesn't support flashing. I am having this problem as well, and I'm not using an enclosure at all. You need to be more specific. Which drive and what type of connection are you using? At first I tried USB 3 (via enclosure), but then I decided that was annoying ...
