Makemkvcon: Please create filenames with track number last.
First off, I really like that makemkvcon now tries to construct an filename using disc titles. A small improvement would be to construct the filenames with track number last like this: Title_Of_TV_Series_Season_3_Disc_1_t02.mkv rather than the current method which does this: t02_Title_Of_TV_Series_S...

How can I do a testdump with makemkvcon?
I use makemkvcon exclusively on a headless Linux system. I need to submit a testdump, but I don't know how to do it with just makemkvcon from the command line.

Re: Install only Makemkvcon?
I just did this on a new system (the old one is toast) and it worked great. However, I don't know how to apply my license key (I purchased one) using only makemkvcon.

"Program reads data faster than it can write to disk, ..."
Using makemkvcon on Linux, with a few different disks, I get many lines of: "Program reads data faster than it can write to disk, consider upgrading your hard drive if you see many of these messages." The ripped titles appear ok, but I'm curious about the message. I'm writing to a 6-drive ...

Re: Blu Ray disc says "loading" then ejects...
I've got the same problem with Limitless. I insert the disc into the BD-ROM, it spins for a bit, then nothing. I'm running Linux cli only, but no applications seem to be able to see the disc. 'makemkvcon info' starts up, then quits pretty soon with 'Failed to open disc'. Interestingly, during this ...

Re: complete documentation for makemkvcon?
Ok, maybe I'll narrow it down. I would really really like two features added to makemkvcon 1) With the 'info' command, I want to see running time for each chosen title. Bonus points for telling me how many GB of space the title takes. I'll use this to figure out which title is most likely the main m...

complete documentation for makemkvcon?
<apology> I feel like this post is the classic new guy coming in and crapping on everything. I'm sorry if it feels that way. I'm very happy now that I've found makemkv, but I'm a bit confused. </apology> I'm a new makemkv user and so far I love it. I used to run SlySoft in a Windows VM, this is so m...

Re: What does failure look like?
I won't be able to watch every title all the way through before the 30 days is up. You don't have to: MakeMKV is free while in beta Right really the payment isn't the primary reason. I want to put these back in the box in the garage and I don't want to find out two months from now when we sit down ...

What does failure look like?
As test to see if I want to buy MakeMKV, I'm planning on ripping a bunch of discs one after the other over the course of a few days with the Linux cmdline version. What I'd like to know is how do I know if the decryption and rip was successful? If MakeMKV can't do something will it report an error? ...
