I bought MakeMKV somewhat 'on spec'. Yet after that time someone sorted out my Pioneer BDR-XD07U. So this is just a thank you to the good folks out there, beavering away, chipping away at unwaranted controls. I can now access all my fully paid for 4k disks on my phone.
