Cedar Rapids
I am having trouble ripping Cedar Rapids.
MakeMKV just freezes 3/4 of the way through the main track. I do not have any errors or debug messages...just the pinwheel of death (Mac).
I ripped 3 movies before Cedar Rapids and all of them through without a hitch...
Any ideas?

Re: What is the best possible outcome for ?TV?
Sorry order wrong.
If the mkv file is DTS audio I will strip out the dts file convert it to AC3 and then remux it back into the mkv before I convert with Handbrake

What is the best possible outcome for ?TV?
I have a new Apple TV and I have been re-encoding the files from makemkv into .m4v files for my Apple TV. I want to make sure that I get the highest possible quality when going from the 1080p Blu-Ray rip to the 720p ?TV version. Currently: Handbrake - 2Pass (Turno 1st Pass) - 5000Kbps Video Bitrate ...

Read Rate is SLOW
On 2 different Blu-rays (Doomsday, Warren Miller) my read rate stays constant at 1.6X but i know it can read at speeds faster than 4.0X
Does anyone know why this happens? It froze the first time I tried to rip it, I am trying a second time now...

Fastest Read Rates?
I am using an external drive on my Mac (LG) I average about 4.5X Is there anything else out there that can read at a much faster rate? I have a SSD so I don't think the bottleneck would be my hardware (except of course the actual drive). Anyone else have an external/internal they use on their mac th...

Re: Access The Menu
I don't want to have to do a full backup before I can even see the menu...That is HOURS extra...guess I will just wing-it for now. Hopefully some sort of blu-ray playback is available soon.
I have parallells on my Mac but I guess that cant play Blu-Ray either.

"MKV and Handbrake claims there aren't valid video files when I point it to the directory of the the MKV output"
Do they have over 20 "lines" Audio + Video +Subtitles?
Saw it in another post.

Access The Menu
Is there anyway to access the menu screen of the blu-ray? Not to play just to see the titles of the extras along with the main movie. I have adventureland and a mac - My PS3 just broke so I have no way of viewing it on my regular player... The movie has 3 26GB Tracks which is the movie and 2 alterna...

1.6.8 Freezing On World Trade Center
I have been experiencing the "Fatal error" as many others, however, I am also having issues with World Trade Center. It will freeze on the same track every time in about the same location. It says something like invalid offset at and then some numbers. I tried using makemkv on the windows ...
