Honestly that was over 7 years ago and I don't remember at all.

I am wondering if I put the disc into a standalone bluray player, is there a standard way to figure out the correct title? I can get the length at least, but that is not always helpful. I am also wondering due to the mini movies that so many discs have. Thanks.

I have the same drive with the same firmware. no issues so far beyond damaged discs.

mine ripped fine. 1.6.15.

make sure tmt3 is using dxva codec such as ffdshow tryouts.

ripping it is not a problem. playback is.

I've been getting these errors with one of my daughter's dvd's. it worked fine on dvdshrink. I think it's a bug in .15

I know I had a similar issue with Human Planet being in "interlaced vc1" format, which virtually nothing plays correctly. windows media player is about the only one. Not sure if those other discs weren't interlaced vc1 and this one is, or if it's something else entirely.

can you add it in the gui itself?

the beauty of makemkv is that it does not alter the content it rips. this is why it was fairly obvious they were not 16:9 discs.
