In the tool there is a check box I believe it says include bootloader check that box and select the WH16NS60 fw and flash that


I had tried that already. It's now dtetected as BD-RE__WH16NS60_1.02 but still won't reaad anything.

yeah it dead then please only follow the guide not random ...

What is wrting a bootloader ? I googled it but what are we trying to do ?

btw the drive is not working on any computer.

You mean if i was using the drive before i flashed it ? Yes i had been extracting CDs and DVDs since i bought it in december 2021 until right before i flashed it.
I don't know where to find a build date. I don't see that information either on the packaging or the drive itself. But Like i said ...

Yes it's not working. Drive seems to be flashed correctly but i can't read anything.

Will look for other solutions on the forum today. If not buy a new drive, keep this one in case i come across sombebody more knowledgeable sometimes..
