Re: Can MakeMKV properly rip 3D Blu-rays?
It depends on the studio. Disney likes to use 800 as the starting number for playlists which is nice. But for m2ts being 800 too is a coincidence. Yes! Both of the other BD-R movie files (Ant Man 3- Quantumania, Thor- Love and Thunder) were 00000.m2ts and 00001.m2ts. So, I just had to look for the ...

Re: Can MakeMKV properly rip 3D Blu-rays?
So is it impossible to get a quality rip from this anyway since it is only 15GB? It won't be full quality like a legit 44gb disc, but whether it's considered a quality rip is a personal opinion. I'll assume it's not completely garbage (like YouTube levels of suck), but seeing 00800.m2ts should give...

Re: Can MakeMKV properly rip 3D Blu-rays?
First, do you know if that's a legit disc? Official discs almost always come with AACS encryption. The blurays that I've seen from Disney/Marvel do not use BD+ and also do not require Java to help rip it. Are you able to directly view BDMV\STREAM\00800.m2ts without having to decrypt? What does Make...

Re: Can MakeMKV properly rip 3D Blu-rays?
I'm not sure what's going on there. I did a backup of Black Widow 3D just now and stereoscopic playback worked fine on mpc-hc. AACS directory not present, assuming unencrypted disc Using Java runtime from C:\Program Files\Java\jre-1.8\bin\java.exe The software was Java Runtime and that didn't make ...

I'm not sure what's going on there. I did a backup of Black Widow 3D just now and stereoscopic playback worked fine on mpc-hc. This is the error message... (nothing to do with the blahblah+ apparently... lol) AACS directory not present, assuming unencrypted disc This disc requires Java runtime (JRE...

Re: Can MakeMKV properly rip 3D Blu-rays?
Yes, this can be done. I assume what you're attempting to do is rip a 3D Blu-ray to something like a HDD or SSD, plug that in via USB, and play back the frame-packed 3D Blu-ray on your standalone player on your 3DTV. This is easy as hell, but PICKY as hell. SO easy in fact that I couldn't believe i...
