Re: Lord of the Rings + The Hobbit 4K (Finally!)
I ran into the same issues with Return of the King (UHD 1st disk, not Extended), using version 16.4 on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04.3). Whenever I tried to open the disk, I would get a fault in the UI and the application closed. I was able to perform a full disk backup to the local drive with no issues, howe...

Re: First attempt - is drive locked? [solved]
Is this issue related? If so, I don't mind running other tests, etc. The drive I'm using is an LG BD-RE BH10NS30 with the H102 firmware. Here's the log I get no matter what BD disk I use. Interestingly enough, MakeMKV worked just fine on version 1.6.7 even with the same disk. Debug log started at We...

Re: Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen
The bit rate is really high on lots of action movies. I've found many devices just can't handle that amount of data sometimes. If you change the data stream from MPEG2 to h264, however it often works much better. It takes a long time to convert, but it seems to do the trick often times. Using Linux,...

Re: Failed to save title - 1.6.8 (1.6.7 worked fine)
I have a second BR which will not rip in 1.6.8 which ripped successfully in 1.6.5. Has anyone tried re-ripping BR disks that worked on a previous version?
