Help! DVD Region Blocked, Can’t Assign Region
Hello, I have "LG HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH16NS60 Blu-ray Drive" and I've used it hundreds of times ripping Blu-ray disks and one UHD Blu-ray, but this is the first time ripping a DVD disk and it keeps failing since it's a region locked DVD even though my drive is LibreDrive Enabled. Drive Informa...

Re: How not to buy fake Blu-Rays?
Ordering from amazon should be safe, and you're protected by their return policy anyways. Yes I know, I have already bought all of my Blu-Rays from Amazon US & UK (Only when it’s covered by international return) most of them were “Sold by Amazon”. But I’m asking about Walmart, since I’ll have t...

Re: How not to buy fake Blu-Rays?
brick and mortar store. Can you please suggest some stores? Is Walmart a good source? I found a deal (Not even available on the Blu-Ray.com site) and the seller is a 3rd party and not walmart, so how is that different from Amazon or ebay? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Attack-on-Titan-Seasons-1-4-Episo...

Re: How not to buy fake Blu-Rays?
I could buy from Walmart or Bestbuy, but then I’ll have to use an international shipping service like MyUS or BoxIt4Me to ship it to my country. The downside other than it being expensive, If it arrived faulty and/or I wish to return it for any reason, I’ll have to pay again to ship it back to the U...

Re: How not to buy fake Blu-Rays?
I’m not in the US, and there’s no physical media market where I live at all. So the only way to buy Blu-Rays are mainly from Amazon US and UK international shipping. It’s great since it offers a full international refund. So brick and mortar store. isn’t really an easy option, any other suggestions?

How not to buy fake Blu-Rays?
Hello, I’m looking for (The Office: Complete Series Blu-Ray), Amazon sells it for around 120$ and Walmart for 106$. I found an Ebay listing from a 5 star seller (resalekollective) selling it for 72$, almost half the price of Amazon. But when checking the images, the printed box looks low resolution ...

Re: Arabic Dubs non existant [Solved]
Update: I found A way to buy iTunes movies cheaper, by changing the region to another country. Now instead of paying 16$ a movie, Now it's 0.57$ a movie . Since I'm just starting my movie collection journey, It's very tempting to start collecting my movies digitally on iTunes, literally 0.57$...

Thanks, but going back to the main question. In general, how can I confirm that a Blu-Ray copy is original?

Re: Fake or Legit Blu-Ray?
The extended editions from 2012 had an intentional color retiming. Maybe this is what you're seeing? Both versions are Theatrical, This is the first one I had before returning it: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Lord-of-the-Rings-The-Motion-Picture-Trilogy-Blu-ray/300179/ And this is the second:...

Fake or Legit Blu-Ray?
Hello everyone, I'm still new to Blu-Rays and I got my self (The Lord of The Rings Trilogy) and had a problem ripping it since it was damaged during shipping and I could only rip the third movie (The Return of the King), I returned it and bought a new one and ripped it, but the movie looks lower res...

Re: Arabic Dubs non existant
You're correct, iTunes allows you to download movies but it's capped at 1080p even if it was 4k, which wouldn't matter if I want the soundtrack. I found an app that bypasses the DRM and converts it to MP4, but all Pixar movies are being sold for 16$ each at 4k, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision which I ...

Re: Arabic Dubs non existant
I found out that iTunes sells digital copies of Disney movies and it includes Arabic dubs, it’s a bit expensive (16$ for each, there is no collections), but is there a way to download the movie off of iTunes to my NAS?

Re: Arabic Dubs non existant
Unfortunately there also isn’t DVD or even VHS so also not an option, I thought of extracting the audio from Disney+ like you said, but do we actually own the movies? Isn’t it more like renting rather than owning?

Re: Arabic Dubs non existant
Maybe something like Disney+ is an option? Disney+ does in fact have Arabic soundtrack, but the point of ripping Blu-rays is to own the movies I like and not rely on streaming services. Are you asking about extracting the audio track from the movies? Not exactly, I don't have a movie that has an Ar...

Hello, this is my first time ripping Blu-ray disks, I got a used LG WH14NS40 Optical Drive, and I flashed it with HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936 firmware and it says Libre: Enabled. The optical drive is connected to PC. This is the first Blu-ray disk I rip (Puss in Boots 2-Movie C...
